Such as, “How many country critters does it take to check the mail?”
The obvious answer is — ALL of them!
My daughter told me yesterday that they had 2 cats and all the chickens following
them down to the mailbox. So, today, I just had to document their journey!

I never thought chickens would follow you around the yard, but when they see someone
in a skirt (they equate this with feeding time), they all come running!

Even the kitties join in!

“Okay, everyone line up — peoples by two’s, critters by three’s!”

I don’t know what Daniel was doing with his face here in this picture —
but, needless to say with the help of his critters (and his sister),
he was able to find the mail!

AND, we want to say “Happy 4th Birthday to Daniel”!
That’s great! What a sight!
Big Birthday Wishes to your son. Four is a great age, but they’re all good! (Hmm, I don’t have teenagers, yet. Remind me I said that in a few years. Mine are 5 and 7.)
